Before graduations, she was among 1 of the 5 graduates in her class chosen by the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria to the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), one of Australia's leading public hospitals.

In her
latest status on Facebook in May this year, she reveals:
“On my last day of placement as a student nurse, after thanking the team for their support and wishing them happy holidays, the surgeon came up to me and said, “I hope you keep doing what you’re doing, because no matter where you land, they’ll be fortunate to have you.”
“Even though his path is as familiar as a morning routine and mine was only just beginning, he told me he’d be rooting for the day I come back and introduce myself as his colleague, ready to work alongside him again.
“It’s wild to think it took me three years just to be able to say: “My name is Tran, and I’ll be your nurse today.”
